I am looking for an integrally suppressed Ruger 10/22 and an integrally suppressed Ruger MKII or MKIII. I see a lot of places offer them, but who makes the best ones? I am most interested in sound reduction and reliability. Please provide links if possible. Thank you.

All I can say is I really like the integral suppresors that I have seen from Gem-Tech. I like their lifespan, I like their balance, I like the fact they understand Ruger well, and I like their customer support.

I saw a Ruger M2 with a Gem-Tech integral today, claim was it could take a WHOLE lot of rounds before rebuild. Like 35,000, which is hard to believe. Recommendations were not to clean it except with water, to shoot straight lead only, etc. I shot the prototype quite a bit, and all you heard was the action. Completely silent, and it feels like a factory gun.

I am no .22 suppressor expert, but from what I have shot....Gem-Tech is tough to beat. A 10/22 with an integral would be a very nice addition to any safe and I think that this is one brand you would be happy with. Am certain there are others too.

Whatever you go with, contact the company directly and ask about lifespan. You can have a quiet signature and still have something that's going to crap out on you quickly, and unless there's reliable support you are out quite a bit of cash.

My Ruger 22/45 has a Integal Suppressor. I love it, very quiet and so easy to maintain. You just hear the slide of the action, reminds me of a pellet rifle when I was a kid.

I have a Gemtech Oasis-RD 10-22 that I am very happy with. Compared to the Gemtech Outback II it was quieter. That and the tan RD model looks great.
