Seems like Ti-Rant or Osprey are the two front runners. Any comments or suggestions before I pull the trigger on one of these?

Also going to use the online process in lieu of the paper form for this.....

I use mine (FNP Tactical) with an Osprey. I like the rectangular shape so you can quickly tell if it starts to loosen while shooting.

I ordered a Ti-RANT since I got a great price but I recently got to shoot a Kimber 1911 .45 Auto with a GEMTECH attached and was very impressed.

I should get the stamp for my Octane 45 in FDE in a couple more months, well 3-4 really. I was going to go with the Osprey, but about the time I was purchasing they released the Octane in FDE and the host is a sig scorpion 1911. gotta match your accessories!

I'll probably still get an opsrey at some point though.

performance wise the octane tirant and osprey are all about equal.

if weight is not a issue go with the octane its the cheapest too.

the osprey is the lightest and smallest. but slightly harder to swap pistons for multiple host.

the tirant performs just as good as the others is light and easier to swap out pistons for multiple hosts.

I went with the tirant

Might want to look at the Octane 45 too.

As Telekinesis says: Consider the Octane .45

The benefit is that the click together baffles make this a very easy can to clean. Essentially a tube in a tube configuration. The suppression is excellent (Comparing to the Osprey 45.) With sub calibers it is on par with the 9mm suppressors in my safe as well. (Comparing to the Trident-9, Osprey-9, Liberty Mystic)

So for a take apart cleaning can that can handle multiple calibers with a very clean mounting piston system, you would be hard pressed to beat the Octane.
