supressors-kac vs. aac

I have recently purchased a hk 45 tactical with the intention on buying a suppressor for it, now i cant decide on whether i should buy an advanced armament corp or go all out and buy a knight's armament suppressor. I am almost determined to get the kac but if the aac suppressor offers the same db reduction i might change my mind because of the price. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also if anybody in the austin area knows of a good class III dealer please let me know.

You really pay a premium for the KAC cans. While it is the quietest can when run dry, in my opinion all of the current .45 cans need to be run wet to get acceptable dB reduction. If you're going to run it wet, the numbers are close enough that the KAC is not worth the extra $400. That $400 can just about buy you a .22 can and the tax stamp for it.
