There's been some discussion about this on other forums. I believe Surefire has instituted across the board price increases, including all products. The A2 is now listed at $195.00 and the L2 for $175.00. I believe there are better deals out there for the 123's, but Surefire batts are still a pretty good deal-just not as good as they used to be.

$1 sounds real good - tho I wonder if they and others, hearing of Surefire's price hike won't follow suit - at least in part.
Doubt I'll find out yet a while until I get low on present stock.
