When they say standard lower parts kit, do they mean commercial spec or mil-spec? I personally am not jumping out of planes and such, but my current ones are "mil-spec" and I like to switch around stocks and such.

Commercial vs mil spec is the buffer tube. This lower will work fine for you.

Why do they say not for sale to California? If that name isn't on the list, it's perfectly legal. It's not cost effective though.

I have several. They are perfectly machined in all ways except - the magwell is hardly flared. Not a tiny bit. This is only a minor defect, but it does mean there is some, small benefit to buying a nicer lower that has a flare or bevel machined on the inside bottom of the magwell.

If that comment doesn't make sense to you, you don't need to worry about it!

One of these days I'm just gonna pull the trigger on a deal like this and just buy say like 6 of them so when I get the itch from time to time I just build another AR.
