Hi all,
has anyone of you guys had the occasion to shoot either the S&W 627 PC 5" and the S&W 627 PC 5" with a V-comp?

What's the difference? Do you feel a noticeable benefit from the V-comp? Does it affect your groupings very favourably? Or just good for fast shooting?

I own a S&W 627 PC 5" and she's a superb shooter, please give me an excuse to give her a sister !!

627v comp

a friend has one i have not shot it yet but he is not a reg. shooter and told me that he groups them well at 25 -30 yrds.he wants to change the wood grips out to the houge but can't get the wood ones off? have you tried to change yours? let me know if there is some trick to get them off thanks

The V-comp is a 5" with an interchangeable plain and ported muzzle. I seldom use the ported muzzle, but it seems to be effective on hot rounds. Strange to feel the revolver coming back more than up.
