Swedish Mauser sight question

I just received a +3.5 front sight from Samco cuz my rifle was shooting 12" high and just a little while ago I spent 60.00 on a Mojo rear for my M38. Now after installing the tall front sight I have a very limited amount of room between the top of the front sight and the front sight hood and when I look down the Mojo sight the front post is almost "touching" the top of the Mojo. Do I need to remove the front sight hood and go back to the military rear sight in order to use the tall front or will the Mojo work?

Take off the sight hood and use the Mojo.

I was thinking that but will the sight picture be incorrect with the length of the front sight in relation to the way it appears through the mojo rear sight?
