Hey guys,
I have been looking for a scope for my new CZ 452 .22LR in the $200 - $300 range. I have narrowed it down to, arguably, the two best deals in the optics world (from what I have read thus far).
In you opinion, which is the better scope? Why? The price difference isn't too much, but it is something to consider. Also, if the SWFA is a better product, then I would most likely get the 16x magnification model.
My main concerns are light transmission (clarity), repeatability, and durability (I have heard the SWFA has steel internals?). This scope will be used for bench shooting from 100-300yds most of the time, and on the rare occasion, varmint hunting.
One last thing that I would like to know is which rings will guarantee clearance of the rear sight.
Other relevant insight and comments are always welcome!
Thanks,

EDIT: Sorry for the misunderstanding Strykervet, I will be paper-punching/steel-ringing out to 300yds. Varmits will live to see another day if they are past 85yds Once I get out of college and land a job, I'll most likely move on to a .223 setup as all I can currently afford is the .22LR ammo.
