Swollen Hands after shooting

Having Carpal Tunnel myself, your symptoms sound familiar......especially the tingling. Age is not really a factor and altho the repetitive motion of loading and firing 400 rounds may have not been enough to bring on inflammation, other activities prior to and afterward may have contributed......i.e. using your computer mouse. Altho heat may help some prior to activity in order to stretch and loosen muscles , the use of heat on inflammation and swelling prior to 48 hours afterwards, will only make things worse.........remember RICE(rest, ice, compression and elevation), and that Ibuprofen is your friend.

......by now its all better by itself, yes?

Yeah, things cleared up on their own now. I did notice a discoloration where I probably was smacking down on the mag loader trying to get rounds into the mag, which was apparently a burst blood vessel.
