SXS Interstate 12GA good or bad?

I was in Big 5 today and noticed they had a 12GA SXS short barrel for $269.
It's made by Interstate but I've never heard of this company so what I want to know is are they good or bad? I most likely won't use it all that much but I want to make sure it's reliable for those "just in case" moments, where you need something dependable. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

It is imported by Interstate (IAC) from China. Some have problems with them. I wouldn't recommend them.

Well I'm planning on getting one tonight real soon so I'll let you all know how it tuens out and I'l most likely post some pictures.

The problems have been cracked stocks and firing pins and trigger group parts breakage. You might get a good one. The problem with buying one is if you have problems with one you are on your own. No parts are available.

I decided on a NEF Pardner pump .
Sweet looking gun,I have only heard good news about them so i will see how it goes.

Well I ended up getting the SXS. The only thing I don't like about it right now is that everything is VERY tight, but using some gun oil I was able to get some of the parts to loosen up a bit and hopefully I'll be able to test it out soon.

There are plenty of parts for the 12 ga Pardner Pump because all of the 870 parts fit. I doubt you will ever need any. They are very tough shotguns.

The SxS you bought it the Century Arms, not the IAC.

The right barrel stamp says CAI Georgia, VT and the left one says Zhongzhou Machine Works, China............................so you know it's good if it's made in china...........sarcasm much??
