I have an old Remington model 11 semi auto 12 gauge shotgun. Do they make synthetic/ polymer stocks for this model? Any other resources to check into? Thanks! - josh

Ramline used to make a synthetic stock for the Auto 5. But you’d have to modify the butt to make it fit.

But those things have been out of production for some time.

The Ramline forend fits on no problem. The problem with the butt stock is the two grip tangs. The upper fits ok, but the bottom would need heated and bent to match the contour of the stock...otherwise, it hangs down clear.
The Ramline stock set shows up on eBay from time to time.

Bought my first shotgun when I was around 15 years old. Not long after I let some guy talk me into trading it for a synthetic/plastic stock shotgun. Worse mistake I ever made. I don't know how many times I wished I could just kick myself in the butt for doing that. I've never owned or will I own another.

What was wrong with the polymer stock?

Mine cracked. For no reason I could figure out. "Polymer" is used today for One reason, It's cheap. Not better than wood, Cheaper.
