T/C Encore Slug Accuracy

I wanted to get some feedback on anyones experience with the T/C Encore with the 28" ProHunter Slug barrel. I would like to upgrade from my 870 express with a rifle barrel that I have hunted with for 20+ years. But before I spend 400 dollars for a new barrel and forearm I wanted to make sure this is a good move.

I really have only used the Encore with the muzzleloader barrel and I have been very pleased with the feel and handling. Accuracy has also been very good.
