Jeff posted this link in another thread.

Has anybody used one of these yet? What did you think?

I love tac slings. (currently use a Blackhawk) They are super handy for when you are doing a lot of moving around with your gun, and as a 3 gunner there are sometimes where they are super handy. Like in transition drills.

However I shoot tons better in the standing position if I can sling up first.

This sling looks like it could potentially be the best of both worlds.

Have any of you used one of these? How did it work? How was the craftmanship? I want some opinions before I drop $75 dollars. :)

And I just realized that I posted this in the wrong forum! :D Bad Moderator.

I believe Jeff Cooper said in To Ride, Shoot Straight, and Speak the Truth, "A rifleman cannot go through life with a D-ring laced to his bicep."

Well, if a deployed SEAL in Kandahar (see T.I.S. "Endorsements" page) can go about on the battlefield with one of these Quik-Cuff apparati strapped to HIS bicep, I suppose it's worth looking into.

Of course, you're not gonna strap on your sling-cuff in the real world(as opposed to a range/competition scenario) for anything short of a SWAT call-out or unrestricted ground warfare, but in those environments, whatever works is whatever works.

(I can just see it now: "What's that strap you've got there on your arm, sir?" "Oh, I have to wear this for my carpal tunnel syndrome:evil: .")

Larry,
I got a Wilderness products single point sling with a gg&g attachment that goes on the buttstock near the receiver for my bushmaster, and I like it a lot. I will show it to you soon and see what you think
