Tactical Firearms Courses

Hey everyone,

As I stated before, Im in my final weeks of the police academy. We have done firearms training and while Im satisfied with the extensive training they have taught me, I would still like to expand my experience and skill. I am looking for tactical or practical firearms courses. Im in the NJ/PA area but I am willing to travel. Basically I am looking for any of the following:

Pistol:
room clearing
multiple targets
hostage situations
multiple targets and different distances
firing while moving
moving targets
firing from a stopped car/using the car as cover

Shotgun:
firing while moving
moving targets
using cover
etc

Rifle/Carbine
hostage situations
moving targets
long range 100-300 yds
firing while moving
etc

I learned alot of the pistol/shotgun stuff in the academy, but like I said Im just looking to expand and practice.

If anyone can provide me with course information or locations, or at the least some good shooting reading material that deals with tactics and situations, I would appreciate it.

I doubt any single class is going to have all the things you listed.

TDI is a good choice or you could give us a try.
