Is Storm Tactical's training open to private citizens, or limited to agency sponsored students/sworn LEOs?

I called the instructor, he will accept 'non LEO' applicants on a case by case basis. if you want to email him direct to ask about your particular situation and background, feel free to do so. His info is on the course flyer. Also, the cost and equipment he provides is on the flyer.

Flyer is located on this page:
http://www.stormtactical.com/training.htm

As of today 15 seats are reserved, 15 available.
Thanks for looking. Mark

Not much detail on the website. Is there any practical advantage to those already in the medical profession, such as ER/trauma doctors and nurses?

How would this differ from the army combat lifesaver course? We did all basic stuff, treating for shock, splints, first aid for sucking chest wounds (they all suck) and my favorite, starting an IV. At night with NODs on! I like to watch hardcore grunts that can do the near impossible pass right out upon presentation of the needle. "The showing of the instruments!" as it were.

We did not do sutures though. I've picked up other things here and there, my mother is a Vietnam era nurse (and still a nurse today). I have an SF field medic manual. But there are some things I'd like to pick up still.

So I'm not in an ER or trauma setting, but I would like to know the difference between this and combat lifesaver. I don't want to waste my time (well, not time really, more like money) on something I've already been through and refreshed on too many times.

I went to the link, but didn't get my question answered.
