"Tactical" sling for shotgun

I am looking for a sling for my 870. I have loop attachments at the magazine cap, and between the stock and receiver. I am looking for a "tactical" sling, I had a VCAS sling, and while I like the sling it did not work for me on my shotgun. I need a sling that can be let out more than the VCAS sling, because it was difficult to pull the weapon up to my shoulder when slung muzzle down across my chest.

I'm sure most of the problem is that the attachment points are further apart on my 870 than they are on my AR's, and it's no help that I am a big guy.

Are you using a padded or unpadded VCAS? And if unpadded, was your sling ever cut? A new, unpadded VCAS should still be plenty long to work for a shotgun on a big guy.

It is a regular VCAS. No, it hadnt been cut, it was brand new directly from BFG. It's not way too short, but I would be more comfortable with a little bit more manoeuvrability with the sling.
