I’m looking for a tactical stock for a mini 14series 180 but after talking to everyone from Ruger to stock manufactures no one makes a stock that fits the series 180. If anyone knows of a manufacture or how to modify a stock to fit the series 180 I would appreciate the info. I love my mini 14 and hate to upgrade just for a stock, the gun is in excellent condition.
Thanks,

I have a 180-ranch with a Butlercreek folder on it; don't know how tacticool you want to get....or how much gear you want to weigh yourself down with.... i think Ultimak makes a shroud/rail that works too.

Yeah the Butler Creek folder works, I had one on mine for a very long time.

It's about as "tactical" as the Mini ever really got.

You want to take that font back a bit?

A work acquaintance recently came to me asking for help in tricking out his Mini. I asked him why he got the mini if he wanted a gun he could trick out, why didn't he just get an AR? (He's a combat veteran.) He said he really likes the mini. I told him, that's fine, but there's only so much you can do with one. I told him to choose. Pick the one you 'really like', but still want to change drastically, get an AR instead, or keep both. He sold it and got an AR.

If you like the mini, keep it. But there's only so much you can do to it, and you won't get AR accuracy out of it no matter what you do.
