just in the guns that I own, and i will take with me when I move out, i have seven calibers.

.303 boltgun
.223 semi-auto
.30-30 levergun
.22 rifle
.45 pistol
20 gauge shotgun
12 gauge shotgun

I have 400 rounds of .303, on chargers, 40 rounds of which resides on my british pattern 37 web gear, along with 1 1911 magazine, a period hi power holster (which fits the 1911) , the period canteen, and the bayonet for the gun. this is stored in the backpack that attaches to the web gear, which is hung up in my closet. the rest of the ammo is in an ammo can, with the rest of the 80 gazillion chargers have for my number4mk1.

i have 200 rounds of .223, in magazines in my chest webbing, which is in my duffle bag which has all my "going to war" kit in it.

i have a bandolier for my 12 gauge, with 25 rounds on it in the closet, and the 20 gauge has a buttcuff on it.

i have belt kit for the 1911, which has a holster for the gun and extra loaded magazines, also in my going to war kit.

the 20 gauge has a loaded buttcuff on it.

the 30-30 has a box of ammo on a shelf in the closet, and i'm probably going to fill up an M1 garand belt with ammo for it.

i try to keep a set of LBE for each of my guns, so i can use them effectively, even if they aren't my primary guns, and i try to keep at least a couple hundred rounds on hand, even for guns that aren't the primaries.

There is supposed to be an "order" to this firearm and ammo dealie...I didn't get the memo.

I keep CCW's and have all loaded, including mags and speedloaders.

The infamous "Mike Irwin System" is used for everything else. Long guns in a walk in safe elswhere, with some ammo, ammo in other places, and what is here, I may or not have guns for it.

I have some 32 ga shotgun shells...no gun...got shells...never know-right? I might get attacked by terroist quail or something...i wish they would...I like busting quail.

Who else coordinates with family/people living with you?

In my extended family there is one rifle that is not .223 or .22LR. The .223s are all AR15s. This was not even planned, it was all like "I want a rifle, hey can I come up to the range and shoot yours?" followed by "These are fun, what are they called? 10-22 and AR15, I need to get one of these."

Steve, I keep trying to get him to come back so I can.... :D

Actually the less calibers I have, the easier, since I move on average of twice a year

(keep hopping to crappier and crappier places since rent keeps on going up and up)

Gotta score me that out of state job...grr....
