GREAT JOB EVERYONE, take those kids and wives and anyone else we can get started hunting . It's a great way to spend time together and make memories that last a life time . Also we can use all the help we can get. I've taken my kids since they we old enough to tag along and also taken their friends on their first hunts along with my nephew. I also got my wife started deer hunting. I love to get people who have never experienced hunting and shooting started.

Well, I don't have any daughters, and my granddaughter lives a few hundred miles from me, so I don't see her too often, but I did take my ex-wife with me when we were married, and my present wife loves to shoot, hunt, and bass fish.

She killed her first squirrel last fall, around the end of October, about 50 yards or so from the house, with her Ruger Wally World Special.

November 27th, while we were deer hunting, she suffered a ruptured aneurysm in her brain. It was touch and go there for a while, but by the grace and mercy of God, and the help of a good rescue squad, flight paramedics, and some really good doctors and nurses, (and a LOT of prayers) she survived and is home today. She's still got a long way to go to be "normal" again, but she's already said she can't wait to go fishing and hunting again.

With a near 5lb Largemouth she caught last spring.

Bigreno, what scope is on the .22?

It is a cheap little 4x25 Ultralux. A buddy of mine got it with an SKS scope/mount combo. The mount came from Crickett and I think the rings are wally world specials.

Deer hunting with my 12 year old last year was a blast. She and I are going pheasant hunting next Monday.

I have 4 girls, they all have been hunting with me, my 6 year old likes to go with me varmit hunting she likes the calls, they all like to shoot and fish , the 6 year old is pretty good she catches more fish than me some days!;)
