Talk me into/out of a CZ75 BD!

The trigger reach depends on finger length more than hand size.
My hands fit medium gloves, but the trigger reach feels just about right to me. On the pad of my finger, not the first joint. The SA reach shouldn't be an issue with anyone.
I may get a spring kit to soften the trigger a little, but the only, only, thing I felt an actual desire to change on my PCR was the sights. The originals are just fine, but I put Tru Dot tritiums on it.
Yes, this left a little gap in the top strap because the PCR comes with a 'streamlined' rear sight and the tritium ones don't have that cover piece, but it's purely cosmetic.
The slide is covered in a baked finish, and I've had mine in Florida weather with no signs of rust. There's very little exposed metal, really.
As for the slide, yeah, it doesn't allow the grip that internal-rail designs do. The trick is to hold the slide and push the grip forward instead of pulling the slide back. Or if they're not the low-profiles PCR sights, use the rear sight as a brace.

I can't tell you about that specific model... but I CAN tell you my experience.

I have a plethora (more than 1, less than a lot) of 9mm handguns. Up until recently, they consisted of multiples of Browning, Kimber, H&K. I've always been curious about CZs and the way their slide rails differ from "standard" 1911 type rails.

I had occasion recently to hold a CZ 75 Compact PCR and it fit my hand better than any other 9mm I have, so I said, "I want that" and I bought it.

It is evident that it's not a $1,000 pistol, but... it's not meant to be. Instead, it's a very reasonably priced, very nice piece of machinery. I shoot it better than my more expensive H&K. It fits my hand. It has functioned flawlessly for me, and it handles all the different bullet profiles I've put through it. In short, it was probably one of the best handgun purchases I've made in a long time! On top of all that, it's roughly the same size as the H&K USP Compact, and the slide is thinner than the H&K. Great little carry gun.

I can't see you'd be going wrong with any variant of the CZ75.

Wow, thanks Everyone for the responses! I learned a lot with this Thread... Mostly, that buying a CZ75 variant is a great idea!

I wish I had discovered these pistols earlier in my life! would have saved me a ton of money!

Thanks again!
