Talk me out of a SIG P250

I'd go with an M&P VE model. They cost no more than your 250 and they are a virtually redesigned gun compared to the Sigmas. Much different and better trigger and fit and finish are better as well. The Smith VE's seem to be the best on the market for a name brand high quality striker pistol.

I'm guessing you mean the SD VE - there is no M&P VE.

I will say that the trigger on the SD is definitely long and somewhat heavy if that's what you want. It also can be adjusted with Apex parts to bring it more in-line with a Glock-type trigger, which is a positive if you ever want tot change it.

I have a .45 Compact 250.

At 800 rounds, the extractor needed replacing. SIG took it back for free and fixed it over a week, and I think it's sitting at around 700 rounds post-service.

I like it for what it is. The DAO trigger is light and smooth, and I have no problems being accurate with it. Split times are longer, and I do feel like I'm waiting on the trigger, but for the $350 I think I paid, I like it.

It is not going to replace my G21, though.

I bought last week a P 250 sc .380 acp; fire 200 rounds of aguila ammo. not a single problem. The gun shoots point of aim, the dao tigger in my opinion is excellent. And the flexibility to change grip frames add a bonus to it.
