Tanfoglio Use

Seems like I remember reading about the Phillippine National Police purchasing some 60-70 thousand Jericho pistols, with the Armscor assembled MAPP1 finishing in 3rd place in the competition.

I have the Tanfoglio Force/Carry/Police, anyhow black poly with the 3.6" barrell. I bought this one brand new for just a little over $300.

I have touched on this before, but with these things being so inexpensive, a police dept. doing a bulk buy contract should be able to get an absolute steal.

With the P.I. doing such a large purchase, does anyone think that more U.S. P.D. will give the pistol a little more attention?

Never.. Not with EAA being the importer. Not have a a quality smith ether. PD's get big time breaks from suppliers allready.

The MAPP1 guns are not sold by EAA but exclusively by Armscor/RIA in the US. I have one and it is one of the best guns I have period. 18 rounds and fires anything as well as light enough to carry all day long be in IWB or OWB. I also would avoid EAA imported guns due to their CS however Armscor Precision in Nevada is top notch and the best CS I've ever done business with.
