Tangfolio EAA Witness 1911? ? ?

I'm posting this in hopes that someone here who knows far more than I can help me with this question. I'm trying to find out about a gun called Tangfolio EAA Witness Sport, a 1911 clone. I know Tangfolio makes clones of the great CZ 75. but I had never heard of them making a 1911 clone. After seaching for a while on the net all I could find was this link to a German site with a thumbnail photo and no other info. So at least one must exsist. Any help would be much appreciated.

The Witness Sport is NOT a 1911 Clone. It bears little significant similarity to the 1911. The original EAA Witness was a good CZ-75 clone although the line has since expanded a bit. But even if you consider the newer additions, there is still no 1911 clone in the Witness line.

I suspect you can already buy that gun in the U.S.--but I'll bet not under the Tanfoglio/Witness name.

Tanfoglio has a relationship of some sort with Armscor of the Philippines, maker of the Charles Daly and Rock Island 1911s.

The last Tanfoglio catalog I got in the mail, stated the 1911 clones were not being imported into the US, but that was about a year ago.

I believe Armscorp of the Philippines assembles the Tanfoglio pistols.
