Tapco has strippers (54R)

Loaded them all up and ran them through the Rommie M-44. I can say that I am a LOT better now than when I first stuffed one in. The clips are pretty consistant but there are looser and tighter ones. The looser ones definately load easier.

Biggest hurdle to overcome loading is the ejector spring. Mine is pretty tight and probably needs looked at to make sure it is clean and maybe, just maybe, it could be lightened a tad....which would ease the stripper stuffing greatly.

Member Cosmolines' tip about lifting the nose of the top round to push the rest in is a keeper!

And, I tried loading the rims _-_-_ and was able to, but they are SO slim they don't want to stay in position in the clips. Much different than the Brit 303. So, it is improbable that any combat troops had control of the rim position during loading.

My rifle didn't miss a beat with any of the magazine loads...regardless of rim orientation. All fed smoothly and ejected positively.

I really like this rifle! Now, I just need to shop for a sling.

i ordered some before they ran out and got lucky. anyone know how long shipping takes?
nevermind, i just got them out of the mailbox. apparently shipping to ohio doesnt take long at all

Mine came today

They look used but it decent shape. One was rusty and another was too loose, but otherwise much better that what I was using.

well i opened them up and they dont look bad at all. They all loaded fine except a few were a little bent up. good buy while they lasted.

I apparently got my order in a couple of hours after Recoil Rob. Haven't heard anything from them yet as to shipping. Hope I didn't get stiffed. Ordered the bonus pack with all the replacement parts also.

Mine arrived Fed Ex yesterday. Didn't get the parts kit because they said it was dicsontinued. Darn, I think I need a new cleaning rod bolt and didn't order a separate one because it was in the kit. Tried loading with the Tapco clips and the ones I got from AIM. Neither worked extremely well, however I have never loaded a clip fed rifle before so I would think it is me. Guess I'll need lots of practice. :)

I just checked and they have a circle with a triangle inside of it and a "T" inside of that.

I also noticed that CheaperThanDirt seems to have the same thing, at least from the pictures. And, they are only 3x the price.

they are tikka's then next time il have to react quicker. i was hoping some one else would find out if they were indeed tikkas or not before i ordered any. :neener: oh well. i snoozed and i lost

I ordered ten of these from Tapco. Tried them out tonight with mixed results, although I really need to get out to the range to be sure of what I've experienced.

"Bimetal" case (steel with a wash) and brass tended to stick just a bit, brass less so than bimetal. The rifle didn't seem to matter; I tried three. Sometimes they would get totally hung up, other times they just needed a good shove. Watch your thumbs! I took a nail half off practicing.

Czech lacquer-coated silvertips went in like butter. I wish my range had a place for steel core ammunition. :(

These are 100 times better than the crap the fraudster 97guns was pushing awhile back. Mine are marked with a Tikka logo, but whether they are the real deal or not concerns me not.
