This package deal is listed in the Tapco catalog for March-April. (It is not listed on their web site.) It includes the T6 adjustable stock (three parts), detachable five round mag, muzzle brake, gas piston, and operating rod. Installing this kit will Americanize the SKS, allowing you to have the pistol grip and use of hi-cap detachable mags. I just ordered this kit. I think it is a bargain, especially if you look at the cost of each individual item. I asked to substitute the blade cut stock for the regular one. This costs $5 more. Total charge with shipping is $140.93. Tapco must assemble this combo for each order. If you call Tapco (800-554-1445), ask for George at extension 108. He was very helpful. My only concern is replacing the grenade launcher with the Tapco muzzle brake. I do not expect this to be easy.
If you can buy a cheap SKS with a crummy stock for about $100 and combine it with the kit, you can have a high-capacity, high quality semi-auto rifle for less than $300. Not for everyone, but something to consider. (I already had an unissued Yugo SKS and several hi-cap detachable mags.)
