first, take the gun apart and clean it thouroughly. if someone cleaned and lubed it with something to thick, or lubed a dirty gun, that could be the problem. while you have it apart, look for any shiney spots where there has been metal to metal contact. if something is bent, there should be a nice sharp shiney edge where the two are scraping each other. when i first got mine, i lubed it heavily with outers gunslick grease. way to much, way to thick. it didnt work like yours, but it didnt function either. once the gun is C-L-E-A-N, lube it sparingly with a light weight gun oil like rem-oil. i use a q-tip to apply lube to mine. that way i get just enough to lube it where it needs to be, and no extra. give it a shot, if it doesnt work, i would take it to a gunsmith. avoid tauruses customer service if possible. they suck!
