Does anyone have any experience with the Taurus 24/7 9mm? It's a little more that what i though it would cost MSRP: $594.00 which is kind of in the glock range. Could the two be compared?

Pretty nice gun. All things considered though, especially the trigger, I personally would buy an XD.

With a bit of looking you can get one in the $325-$400 range in blue or stainless.
I shot my 24/7 9mm blue today. Always chugs along %100, very comfortable, low recoil due to ergonomics of grip. Yes, the DAO trigger is long, but mine seems pretty light and very smooth.
I use my 24/7 as my home defense gun with a rail-mounted xenon/lithium light. Right now I carry a PT-111 Titanium (original), and would like to get a PT-111 Ti Pro, which reportedly will use my 24/7 17-round mags.

Since the 24/7 has come out there have been numerous posts about the pistol. Use the search button my friend and you will find several threads on it.
I had the pistol in .45 and enjoyed it the brief time I had it. Didn't have any use for a DAO pistol so I sold it.
