Taurus 669 (357 magnum)

I have noticed that when looking for one of these, they seem hard to find. I have a 4in SS model. Got the gun new back in 93. I see lots of Taurus 66's But not to many 669 models. Any fellow owners of this weapon. I love mine. It is a great shooter. Rock solid design, and never missed a beat as a shooter.

...just with a vented rib.

I agree - I think Taurus got things right with these models. I've had the 689 for many years with no issues. It's a nice revolver to shoot.

No, you don't see too many around. I think they were discontinued in 1999.
