taurus 92 9mm to 40sw conversion

Hey everyone, I was wondering if any of you knew if it was possible to convet a taurus 92 in 9mm to 40sw by changing out the slide,barrel, and mag? As I understand it, the frames are the same and the 40sw mag will fit in the 9mm frame. Also, do any of you know of a kydex holster that works as a shoulder and belt rig? Thanks.

If you have a slide, barrel, and mags then that is all you need.
You could probably use 9mm mags, but you may or may not have to modify the feed lips.
What brand slide and barrel are you gonna get?

Sorry about the duplicate threads. I'm a new member and I didn't realize I had posted twice. As for where I'd get the new slide etc, I'm not sure. I was thinking of checking out the cost from Taurus. As I understand it, the frame is the only part I'd need a dealer to get for me. If you have any leads, I'd be happy to hear from you.
