Taurus G3C 9mm ?

The reports on the G3C were good. So i bought 2. The grandson wanted a 9mm, his failed, with a very strange occurrence. I gave Taurus 1 chance, they FAILED. Never again.
Plus Taurus doesnt send a shipping label to make returning it easy, like S&W.

Never needed a 9mm in over 50 years, still dont. Mostly wanted to load & cast for it, to see why so many people have so many problems with it.

does it still have the hook on it? pull the slide and see if it will hold an empty shell.

do you drop the slide on a round in the chamber?

Its a pretty easy fix. I have to set extractors all the time.

I bought one on a whim after shooting a few hundred rounds of every kind of ammo I could scratch including my own reloads never missed a beat now my everyday carry

Yes, I tried all the above. I just shipped it back to Taurus. We will see how that goes. I am just surprised that it is happening on a new gun.

Update on my GX4. It was returned to me yesterday, just over three weeks turnaround. The included note says they replaced the extractor and spring. I immediately took it to the range. The rounds are still not extracting. Same as my photo above.
This has left me quite disappointed in Taurus. I sold it back to my LGS at a $100 loss.

It was probably a defective chamber issue.
