Taurus lifetime warranty?

Ive heard people talk about this before.
that all Taurus guns have a lifetime warranty and you can send it back to them if something happens to it. My 65 has some play in the cylinder at full lock up. Not enough to really hurt anything, but any at all is bad.

I was wondering if this is true, if it is Ill send em mine ...

anyone know anything about it?

I git a used Taurus model 65 at a gunshow a few years ago , I was able to negotiate a lower price because of some cylinder play . I sent it to Taurus and got it back about 6 weeks later with a much improved lock-up and it only cost me shipping one way .

No way they will fix that, it's normal wear. A lot of new SW's arrive with some cylinder wobble in lockup.

Or the people who were happy just didn't go online to talk about it while the people who weren't happy did. Remember the old customer service adage, a happy customer will tell 1 other person, an unhappy customer will tell 10 other people. With the Internet that number grows exponentially.

My only experience with the revolver portion was with my first M605.
The first time I shot it, a pin came out and was lost. I sent it back to Taurus and got it back in 21 days!! The gun functioned fine afterwards!!
I foolishly traded it off for another gun that I had the hot's for!!

The only problem I have with it is the fact that Taurus uses the guarantee to get the gun buying public to beta test their new products!! :banghead:
