Taurus PT-22 ammo?

I bought a newer version of the PT-22 last Thursday. A used pistol, but doesn't appear all that used. New enough that it has an integral lock on the frame and a shock-buf insert in the slide.

So far, have just tried the little pistol with Remington 40gr round nose bullets. Don't like to function all that well with the Remingtons. I just bought some CCI Mini-mags roundnose ammo, and will give that a whirl.

So what do you guys shoot in your PT-22 Jam-o matic?

Traded mine away, but I recall it did not like any waxy-coated lead bullets.

I don't own a PT-22, but I have been looking at it's Beretta counterpart. Some others who own that one have had better results with the hotter hyper velocity ammo, like CCI Stingers.
