Does the Taurus Falling locking block like the beretta 92, or does it use the short recoil method like all the other pistols on the market? Are the internals pretty much the same as the Beretta 92?

I think the internals are pretty much EXACTLY like the Beretta... Save the different safety of course. And the grip panels aren't universally interchangable.

Most parts that fit one will fit the other... Most parts. ;)

The Taurus 92 was originally, and probably still is, built on Beretta equipment purchased from Beretta when it finished fulfilling a Brazilian military contract for Beretta 92's years ago.

The design was initially identical, but over the years has diverged from Beretta's design. The top end and method of operation is unchanged, but the Taurus has the frame lever for safety/decock. IIRC the mags do not interchange either. There may be other cosmetic difference on various models, but essentially the same pistols.

They have a different "feel" to them also .
I can't explain it . I can shoot a Tarus just fine and it "feels" right , but a Berretta "feels" wrong , and I can't hit crap with one .
