Here's one that you can take or leave.
200 bucks? That's hard to turn down, even for a Taurus (which I generally don't recommend). If it were higher priced, I'd recommend not purchasing it.
30 rounds is nothing for a gun. You are essentially getting a NIB gun for WAY under new prices. This is one of the few cases where I have seen Taurus's lack of holding value being an advantage.
There are some things you need to be aware of though.
First, these guns DON'T do +P ammo. You will have all kinds of problems if you do shoot +P ammo through it. I went through 1 Guide Rod MainSpring combo before being lectured by Taurus customer service. It took 4 months to get to me and this is after I called once a week to get the status of my part.
Once the second Guide Rod Mainspring combo had been installed, it had problems going into battery after the first shot. Had to manually push the slide forward that last fraction of an inch to get the pistol where it should have been. I remembered that I had to do this occasionally with the first Guide Rod Mainspring combo.
I sold mine for 300. I bought mine NIB for 320.
OTOH, I had a 745C DAO Milpro that worked with pretty much any kind of ammo (not +P though). Other than shooting a tad low, it wasn't THAT bad of a gun. Sold it to get the PT 145.
If nothing else, you are experimenting a bit and getting a pistol that is OK when everything is working right, and that's not too bad of a thing.
Tell us what you think of the gun.
