I'm seriously considering picking up one of these as a woods carry revolver. The size, weight and 7-shot chambering in .357 magnum seems to be an almost too good to be true perfect balance.
I'd rather buy a S&W revolver, especially one of the scandium models, but they seem to come only in snub-class barrel lengths (2.5") or target-class lengths (5").
I've seen the youtube video of the blown up Tracker and I'm sure their are one's out there of blown up Smiths and Rugers. But I still have some trepidation about the Taurus, if for no other reason than sometimes the old saying "you get what you pay for" is true.
Anyone have first hand knowledge of the Tracker series they'd be willing to share before I spend some hard-earned cash?
