Broke my Colt Commando (11.5") out of jail last night when I got my engraved lower back. This one is just a semi-auto build but it is my first stamp so I'm pretty excited!

Right now it is in basic "Heat" configuration, but I'm thinking of what to do with it next, either a Black-hawk down type thing or my friend keeps suggesting I configure it like the IDF used to do with a swoop-down carry handle mounted reflex sight. Then again you don't see too many basic iron-sight only AR's at the range too often.

It's beautiful as is.

However, you do see a ton of folks that can't hit squat with their mis-aligned/dead battery scopes.

Love that Colt Grey! Given that particular finish, I'd probably leave it in Old School format.

Hm, I just noticed that the flash made it look grey, in person it looks black or perhaps a very very dark grey. Regardless, I shot it for the first time in it's new configuration on Saturday and was very pleased. Colt makes a reliable and accurate rifle that's for sure.
