FWIW, the 4513TSW was discontinued from the standard (non-government/L/E) catalog, along with the full-size TSW pistols, but is a popular compact .45 among L/E users that like the S&W TDA pistols.
Where did you hear this? It's still listed on their website and on the fourth of July week-end, I saw a new one on the shelf at a local gunshop.

Well, I didn't see it in their newest ordinary catalog recently ... and I heard it from a couple of folks at the factory.

Also, while it's still listed on their website catalog, it's not in the regular metal-framed pistols section ... http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/...1&parent_category_rn=15708&top_category=15708 ... but in the Law Enforcement, Military & Government section, within the LE pistols section, under the LE Pistol Concealment/Backup section ... http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/...1&parent_category_rn=26803&top_category=26803

Doesn't mean there aren't still some new ones in the commercial pipeline, though ... or, for that matter, that S&W may not decide tomorrow to list it back in the regular public catalog. It's certainly popular enough in the LE sales section. When I was calling around checking on government pricing for some agency holsters, I heard from a couple of vendors and holster makers that they were seeing some good sales in holsters for 4513TSW's for cops.

Personally, I'm surprised S&W decided to drop the 4513TSW from the commercial TSW compact line up. The additional features offered above the 457 are arguably worth the additional cost, and it's one of the finest lightweight compact .45's on the market. Of course, I was even more surprised when SIGARMS dropped their P245 recently, too.
