Ted Williams (Win 94) forearm loose

I have a TW100 with forearm issues. It is basically a Win mod 94 but the forearm instead of having the band, has a cap on the end. There is a screw that goes through to tighten and a slot in the barrel where the screw passes. It tightens snug, but whenever i fire the gun it loosens after a couple shots or even the first shot. I can't figure it out. Seems tight as heck before i shoot. There is a very small crack in the forearm but i can't think this is the culprit. Does anyone know if i can swap this for a mod 94 forearm and band? Any other solutions?

Have you given a thought to using some blue Loctite? Should solve your problem.

The screw remains tight so i'm not sure loc-tite would help. Maybe a new stock is the ticket. Thanks for the heads up. I have a feeling i'm going to dump a pile of $ into this gun to make a shooter. I own a Marlin that is maintenance free, however, kids have adopted it and i kind of like all the noise the Win makes when working the lever. Still seals up tight.
