The youth, whose name was not immediately available, was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was treated and released, said Missouri City Police Chief Ron Echols.
Echols said the boy's aunt, Malika Leverette, 30, fired her pistol at the intruders, who fled.
The incident happened about 3 a.m. in a house in the 500 block of Reecewood. Echols said the men forced there way into the house, awakening Leverette
Leverette told police the men demanded to talk to the someone who investigators later learned had lived there previously.
Echols said one of the men, armed with a 9 mm pistol, fired a shot at the teen, who was sleeping on the couch. He was struck in both arms.
Police do not think the intruders were hit by the bullets fired by Leverette.
Detectives were only able to obtain a detailed description of one of the suspects. Police said he is a black male, 30 and 35 years old and is between six feet and six feet, two inches tall. He weighs about 165 to 170 pounds, has an average build, mustache and a short bald fade. He was wearing a white short sleeve t-shirt.
