I needed a .22 revolver for some newb-teaching, so it was off to the shop during lunch.
After I talked myself out of the fancy vintage Colts and the shop guy talked me out of the $159 Heritage models, I found this 4 5/8" Single Six in stainless. I don't see it anywhere on the Ruger site, and it seems there are all sorts of rumors about its mysterious existence.
It comes with two cylinders, in the usual gray (not unusual green) box. Feels _really_ good in the hand. Best-feeling revolver I've ever held, probably.
Anyone know the story on these? Ruger apparently does not.
