Ugly? Ugly you say!

That Filecci looks a lot sexier than that ugly Taurus PLY. What do they want for a PLY?

My PLY isn't ugly,,,
They are supremely sexy!

But seriously I understand that beauty is in the eye of the beholder,,,
I think they have great styling but that's not their best feature.

Their best feature is that mine have been extremely reliable,,,
And the ergonomics make for a natural aim point.

The 22-PLY is just so dang much fun to shoot,,,
It holds 9 rounds so I do 3-shot bursts,,,
It never jams even with bulk ammo.

Buds sells them for $241.00,,,
Taurus pistols have a lifetime warranty,,,
But you should consider the Buds warranty as well,,,
Buds warranty covers the shipping cost back to the repair center.

For a one-time cost of less than $10.00 the extra warranty is a bargain,,,
Especially if it covered a $70.00 shipping fee.

.25 auto

My great uncle Andy always kept a Titan, .25 in his pocket. One day we took it out in the back yard and fired it into a douglas fir 2 x 4 from about 5 feet. The bullet didn't fully burry it's self into the wood = penetrated about 3/8"
Sure, I wouldn't want to be shot with it, I'm sure it would hurt. On the other hand, I'd hate to have to depend on it to save my life.

something was wrong with his ammo.

here is a side by side or .22lr RN ammo and .25 acp FMJ from the same sized guns. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUIUQRjEIRo

25ACP, my advice is to get a 22LR pistol. The 22LR round has more energy than the 25ACP, therefore will do more damage. The plus side is that 22LR is far cheaper than 25ACP.

you're obviously not using the constant formula and data from similar bbl lengths.

As an added "benefit" of going with the .22LR cartridge you will also be more likely to experience malfunctions due to the design characteristics (not just the full rim) of the .22LR cartridge. Given a choice between trusting my life (God please don't ever let this happen) to a little pocket sized .25acp semiauto pistol or a .22LR semiauto pistol the smart money is on the .25 for reasons of reliability.
