Especially, is it any good, despite being incredibly cheap?

Target Sports Reflex TARDAS 1 19.99
Panoramic Sight, Silver
New

That is the description from CDNN, it was on their buy one get one page earlier this week so I bought one, figured for twenty dollars it must be worth what I paid for it. I know it isn't an Eotech, but has anyone else used on of these before, and does it hold up well? Can it keep a zero well, or is it total junk?

I always heard you get what you pay for.

And that has more then proven to be the case with rifle optics.

All of the cheap chinese sights are a crap shoot.
You may get a good one that works as advertised, and lasts forever.
Or not!

But with todays ammo prices, you can easily spend the price of a much better sight on ammo trying to find out which one you got.

Fugget About It!

The idea is great, the implementation stinks. I loved it while it worked, but after about 500 rounds on my Ruger MKII it literally fell apart. I really like it while it worked so thinking it must have been a fluke, got another, same result. At least it was cheap!

OTOH I've had very good luck with the cheap tube style red dots -- nothing more than a bit of Loc-Tite on the battery compartment screws and they are standing up to .308 recoil fine so far.

Yeah, I've got a cheap Tasco on my GSG-5 and it works famously. Don't know that I'd try it on a .308, though.
