I just became aware of this company, which is pretty close to my location, and I'm wondering if anybody has any experience with them.

Thanks!

I use Wilson combat clips in my kimber cdp II...I only had one factory clip and on a suggestion bought a few Wilsons. They haven't given me any problems at all.

Correct me if I'm wrong but my understanding is this is not Wilson Combat but Wilson Arms. Apparently they make barrels for rifles. AR, M1 and I heard something about a new .50 as well.

I can see how this is going to get a bunch of wrong information to you. A lot of 1911 aficionados will interprate "Wilson" as Wilson Combat firearms and not what you are looking at (assuming its barrels ...your post was not specific). Perhaps the Rifle area of THR could get your questions to the right population. Got some good folks with a ton of info. there! Good luck!

To be honest, When this guy said "Wilson Arms" I had to ask him, "Are we talking about Wilson Combat?" and he said no. I'll bet he gets that a lot. :D

I like unrefined joy though.

So here's the funny part. This is a guy I've known for 3-4 years now. We were working together at a music event and I had to use my knife to cut a piece of string so I jokingly said, "Compliments of the NRA" about the knife and he says, "You're a member?" I says, "Yes." He says, "You'll have to come down to my shop sometime, I own Wilson Arms. I bought it just a few months ago." Me, "Sputter, kaak kaak,,,W-W-W-W-What?!?" Then came the Wilson Combat question. "No we make rifle barrels AR, M1 Garand. I just shot a .50 for the first time the other day." Yes, I was drooling and stumbling over my tongue at that point. Me, "So this means I have to come down there and SHOOT some of these guns that you make? That's TERRIBLE! It'll be pretty tough but I THINK I can manage!"

I'm glad to hear good things from the forum, if there's any bad let me know that too. I could play liason. :)

Let me get this straight...

You met a guy who OWNS a firearms company which also happens to have 50 caliber weapons. This guys INVITES YOU to come see his shop. This was 3 to 4 YEARS ago and you STILL haven't gone???

Dude, you're loosing SERIOUS THR cool points on this one. To top it off you misspelled liaison. :neener: Get yourself over there ASAP, bring a camera, and bring us a full report.

No, no, but close. I've known him for 4 years (probably even more) but he just bought Wilson and I just found out about it yesterday. :D

Damn, and I tried so hard to spell it right too. Hey, I don't have to know how to spell it just to be one you know... :p

I'm not sure about the camera part but I'm sure will post a report. It may take a week or so but I'll get there!

I'l probably mention THR while I'm there too. ;)

Touché, Chipperman. :)

For what it's worth, OK should be capitalized. Also, Juvenal wrote his satires seven centuries before the advent of the question mark. :neener: :neener:

No such thing as a warm P7 either. They are either cool or really, really HOT! ;)
