Multiple State LTC's

Just wonder how many here have applied for and received more then one LTC from more then just your home state? If you have, Whats your main reason?

I have my Texas, Just received NH and Maine and CT.

Waiting on Utah and Illinois.

Why? Texas has no reciprocity for CT, Ill, MN and WA. Utah will get me Wa, I have CT. Illinois gets me themselves and MN. Maine doesnt recognize Texas, and while its a conatitutional carry state, you still need a LTC to go to three of its best State parks.

The remaining states, OR, CA, HI, NY, NJ, MD, RI, MA, wont recognize Texas, and close to impossible if not impossible to grt a non-resident LTC. All but maybe 2 or 3 of them i could if i simply bought or leased property there, or became a part owner of a buisness!

All of which is tempting.... NOT!!!

My Non resident Utah was purchased several years before Illinois became shall issue. I was legal in multiple states including Indiana. We travel into Indiana often, being only 25 miles from the border.
I have a Florida application that I need to get sent off. We travel there pretty regularly.
I wouldn't need multiple if Illinois had reciprocity.

In 2008 I acquired a New Hampshire license to cover CCW gaps for a trip that I was going to take from VA to GA (taking Dad back for one last visit to his home town).

IIRC, the NH made me CCW legal in SC and GA at the time.

I received a re-up notice from NH in 2013 and found that they had decided to make the license into a revenue source by increasing it from $25(?) to $100(?). I decided that it was not worth the additional cost since I no longer had a reason to travel to GA.

My only requirement for out-of-state travel at this time involves WV, so ... <shrug>

Why would I want a Lieutenant Colonel? Or more than one?

At one time I had

Florida
Oregon
Washington
Utah

Now that I live in Texas I have a Texas LTC. That's all I need. I have no intention of leaving the state.
