ANd I am sure it is gun related....otherwise, they will lock this thread.

The reason I ask, is because I was looking at my own screen name..."arinvolvo" And its history isnt all that interesting...My name is Arin, I drive a VOLVO....It was an email address I came up with when I got my first car (a volvo)...and it stuck.

But I realized...some people may misconstrue it, and think that I have an AR in my VOLVO..Which is sometimes true, but still not the real meaning of the screen name.

Anyway, there are a few of you with cool gun-related names....how did you come up with them? Is there something special about them?

short for Evil Beaver, my old online gaming alias, got it from an old Miller Lite commercial.

I'm a tech, I weigh 225 pounds, and I use it.:D I thought it up in desperation a long time ago since all the good names on the board I was trying to get on to were taken. It stuck.

:scrutiny: Took the name of the hero in Louis L' Amour's book, "Last of the Breed." It's about an American Indian pilot that is forced down over the Siberian wilderness. RKBA!

Genus and species name of the swamp rabbit.

It sometimes makes folks think I'm from Cameroon or someplace because I use that name in correspondence occasionally. Some folks are just funny like that.

Regards,
Rabbit.

i'm a 'spiffy' dude that hails from the emptiness of space? and i have my spaceblaster with me at all times to fight off the evil minions of my archenemy "Nollij" and the Zorgs?

i used to be occasionally spotted in the sunday morning comics, being tortured by school teachers or forced to eat plates of hideous food by alien captors.

what i do when i'm supposed to be 'working'

My name is Cslinger and I am an alcoho........ooops wrong meeting.

I have done some writing for Palladium books for both Rifts the Roll Playing Game, the Rifter Magazine and other Palladium megaverse stuff. One of the books I wrote was called the New West.

In the New West there are futuristic gunslingers who are part man and part machine or cybernetic gunslingers. Cyberslingers or Cslingers for short. Hence my name.....Cslinger.

My wife is also on the forum and she goes by Sheslinger. So cute it makes you want to puke doesn't it?:barf: Sad thing is I came up with Sheslinger. Double puke huh?:barf: :barf:

I was a teacher at one time, still do some small group teaching for some of the equipment we use, but my online name at that time was Waccy PerfessR cause I was a little bit of an off the wall teacher. Taught Shop class, got older and lost some of the waccy and am now just the Perfessr. I don't know it all but I want to keep learning.

Well

once upon a time, I wanted my Yahoo screen name to be Privateer! Couldn't do it, but priv8ter kind of worked. And, since I ain't so smart, I use the same ID everywhere.

At the risk of drifting the thread: Joe Mack great taste in Books. Last of the Breed is the only L'amour book I've read, and I loved it.

Sisco is my last name, that's what all my friends call me. Come to think of it, some that aren't my friends call me that too.

My nick name is Gino Belleh, but there's a really stupid story about how that became my nick name.

See, in high school, my best friend (who is Italian) got the nick name "Guido" and it stuck (still to this day). So, I decided I wanted a cool Italian nick name too, so after watching "Out for Justice" with Steven Seagal (his character in the movie is named Gino Felino), I decided to call myself Gino.

Here comes the really stupid part.

I had this friend named Chris who had a really big, old pink Cadillac (no kidding) with a loud speaker system mounted in the grill. One day, we were driving past a girl's house who went to our school and she was practicing a drill team routine. She did a cartwheel just as we were driving by, and her shirt came up exposing her belly. Chris got on his loudspeaker and announced "EXPOSE YOUR BELLEH!" really loud.

After that, Chris would drive down random streets saying into his loudspeaker:

"If you build it...they will have a belleh, a belleh, a belleh, a belleh..."

Eventually, I added "Belleh" to the name "Gino", and there it was:
Gino Belleh.
:D

Inbetween stints in law enforcement, ( 9 years city, now 3 years+ county) I did 6 years as a PI. Good friend started calling me Keyhole, since I did a lot of surveillance.
