Well, if the feel like the "ergonomic" (and I use that term losely) grips that came on my 75B Mil. not very much. If they were nice maybe a little more.
They're on a firearms auction site. It appears as though the 'patterns' are done with laser etching. Looks like they can be had from the guy for approx $30. I'm trying to find out what type of wood he uses.
Hello I am new to this forum and I would like to ask if some one can tell me where I can find stag grips for my Ruger old army 44. I saw some nice looking grips on a gun on this fourm and would like to replace the old factory grips on an old ruger old army that I inherrited. Thanks for any help. Ramrod
Welcome to THR! You might want to post a new thread instead of piggybacking onto this one, that way in case someone has the same question as you, they can easily find it in a search. I'm pretty sure Eagle Grips can make you a set in American Elk. I think the supply of sambar stag has been drying up...
Hi, ramrod. You really should have asked in a new thread, but go here. They're not real stag, but the price is right. Real stag grips are made of shed Sambar deer antlers from India. The Indian government has stopped the export of the material. http://www.westernandwildlifewonders.com/wwlw/index.php?action=subcategory&id=33
