Texas And Colorado CHL Reciprocity Question

Can anyone tell me if Colorado recognizes Texas CHL and if so what the significant differences might be while carrying? I will soon have an upcoming trip to CO. but want to stay within the law. Thanks.

Yes, Colorado recognizes the Texas CHL permit. Don't know the differences as I have never carried in Texas.

Colorado only recognizes Texas resident licenses, not non-resident. This changed May 17, 2007. Prior to that date, Colorado recognized both Texas resident and non-resident CHLs.

FYI, Texas DPS has a this web page listing all states with whom Texas has reciprocity agreements with and those states Gov. Perry has issued a unilateral recognition of the other state's CHLs.
