no clue. go to your last post, hit the "edit" and then try it again, or try a new post. :D

Ok cliff notes version is: I work inside an airport terminal but not past security. The terminal is probably a decade old and has "state law prohibits guns on the premises" printed on them. But when I was reading up on ccw law in Tx it states that the area before the security checkpoint is kosher if you have ccw or if you have it cased and are traveling(reporting it with TSA ofcoarse) I want to find out if this is if the printing on the doors has just been left on there to intimidate people after the law changed or if I read the law incorrectly.

Key question to ask here is who do you work for? Is the airport your employer? If so, then they have effectively advised you (even though the sign may be way out of date) that you are not allowed to carry and that means you can't. If you work for another business in there then that sign means nothing to you. Now, if your actual employer has a policy against it.....

If you have a valid CHL you are fine (per the law) until you reach "secured" areas of the airport.

If your question is in regards to "employment" (as alluded to in another post), then you must be notified by means of signage, verbal notification, or policy written in a employees manual.

Most likely...you have seen an outdated sign...or it is a non-binding sign for CHL's.

CHL's are obligated to obey the official "30.06" sign and the 51% sign.
