To answer your question, yes, I was there, too. Mike posts the invites here, so I guess folks show up sometimes. That was the first 3-gun I shot there; I have been to a few carbine matches. All have been fun.

The IPSC 3-gun match was cancelled because of (most) everybody being at the Space City Challenge down in Houston. I should've known Mike would have the his the next day. Now that I'm on this forum I'll keep better tabs on things I hope.
I'm dying to try this thing in a club match before using it in big matches.
