I sat next to an airline pilot a couple of weeks ago on a 2 hour flight. A former military pilot who had absolutely no concept of firearms as he was not a fighter pilot and had no weapons training. he insisted that we needed to get rid of the automatic weapons like the ones used in Colorado. This was an educated man who did not understand the difference between an auto and a semi-auto. He was just following what the TV told him. Subtle wording changes can have a huge impact on the way people view a subject.
